Cold drawn aluminum tubing is a type of aluminum tubing that has gone through a cold drawing process to achieve precise dimensions and improved mechanical properties.
This process involves heating an aluminum billet and forcing it through a die to produce an extrusion which is cooled. This is followed by a 2nd operation where the cold extrusion is forced through a die. The result is a tube with tight tolerances, improved surface quality and improved properties.
