We are incredibly proud to announce that Alfiniti Canada’s Chicoutimi facility has officially obtained its IATF 16949:2016 certification — and we think that’s worth celebrating.
For those unfamiliar with what this means, IATF 16949:2016 is the gold standard for quality management systems in the automotive industry. It is one of the most rigorous certifications a manufacturer can pursue, and earning it places Alfiniti among an elite group of suppliers trusted to meet the exacting demands of the world’s top automotive players. This isn’t just a piece of paper — it is proof of who we are and what we stand for as a company.
Getting here wasn’t easy. This certification was more than a year in the making, requiring relentless focus, meticulous process improvements, and a team willing to go the extra mile day after day. We want to take a moment to recognize two individuals whose contributions were absolutely essential to crossing this finish line: Marie-Pier Gilbert et la Janick Lajoie. Their determination, perseverance, and professionalism throughout this project have been extraordinary, and this achievement belongs to them as much as anyone.
